Wildwolf:

What are some ways to promote affiliate programs without my own website?

Let me start by saying that domains and web space can be so inexpensive today that there's little reason to *have to* promote affiliate programs without a website. My first website was through the free web space offered by my first Internet Service Provider. I later got my own domain, which offers a number of advantages.

With that said, here are ways you can promote affiliate programs without your own web site, in no particular order:

• Article marketing. There's a lot of potential exposure through well-written articles, not to mention multiple uses. I don't use article marketing as much lately, but they were pivotal in starting my online business.

• Google Adwords and other pay per clicks. Yes, it costs money. But if you do it right it pays more than it costs. This traffic can be the most targeted traffic possible, because your advertising can be shown to prospects the exact moment they're looking for things related to your solution.

Note: I used to focus ONLY on free online marketing methods, and actually started a full-time business that way. But I did better when I started paying for advertising... only accountable paid advertising, which proves its worth by earning more than it costs. It took a change in mindset.

• Blogs. Blogger.com and WordPress.com offer free blogs, where you can be up and running within minutes (once your web page content is ready to copy and paste).

In a sense, you'll have your own web site with these options, but you're also building content for the blog provider. Can be used to drive traffic to your existing sites, too.

• Sig files, where allowed, in online forums and discussion lists (like the Ebiz Mastermind Forum). It's best if the forum/list is related to what you're promoting, for best targeting.

• Sig files, at the end of emails you send to other people. I don't recommend that you spam people with your sig file, but you can promote in your email sig through other legit communications with them.

Those are some that are off the top of my head, although many more advantages come from having your own web site. Some are more effective than others.

If you don't have a website use MoreNiche. You don't need a website to join their program. They also offer you resources like free templates to help you make sales. They have weight loss, health and beauty, and a couple other products for you to promote.I highly recommend them. Custom Sticker (http://www.mediapoint.com.au/stickers.php)
